Executive Committee Meetings

The Executive Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Mana Cruising Club (upstairs) commencing at 7.15pm. Note the change in week and day from June 2020. Everyone is most welcome to attend these meetings.

The revised Meeting Schedule for 2020 is:  19 February, 18 March, April and May meetings cancelled due to COVID-19, 11 June, 9 July, 13 August, 10 September, 8 October, 12 November, 10 December.

AGM 2020

The AGM for 2020 was held at the Mana Cruising Club on Thursday 29 October.  The AGM was held much later than normal this year due to restrictions as a result of COVID-19.

About 45 people attended, including our 4 PCC northern ward councillors and the 2 GWRC councillors representing this area. Tony Shaw presented his President’s Report for the year, a copy of which is available below The previous Executive Committee was re-elected on block, but there is scope for others to be co-opted onto the Committee if there are any further volunteers. Membership subscriptions were held at $10 per household for the current year.

The main part of the meeting involved a discussion on “Developing a Vision for the Future with Transmission Gully”. The Notice of Meeting contained a list of matters that the NZ Transport Agency is required to consult the Association on before Transmission Gully is opened, as well as some other local issues and ideas. There were a wide variety of views expressed by those present and attendees were encouraged to jot their ideas down at the meeting or send them in to the Association. The Association would be delighted to receive thoughts from any interested residents on these matters – either:
